ESPN's Fab 5 Documentary with The Source Magazine


Last night the Tribeca Cinemas in NYC premiered the latest installment of ESPN's 30 For 30 documentary series. The documentary takes us deep into the stack's of University of Michigan's history to unveil the story of the Fab 5. The film showcases their triumphs and failures as a team, and the removal of their accomplishments from NCAA history.

Fab 5, the first time a set of freshmen were the starting 5 in NCCA history; players including Jimmy King, Jalen Rose, Chris Webber, Ray Jackson and Juwan Howard. They did what Michael Jordan did to the NBA, changing the style of the game, bringing street ball elements and incorporating hip-hop to the NCAA.

Following the film, Jalen Rose and director Jason Hehir were on hand for an interview. Ben Lyons hosted the Q&A. The Fab 5 premieres Sunday @ 9 P.M. on ESPN.
