Los Angeles, CA (June 13 , 2011) – Today, Tha Alumni Music Group releases the music video for Kid Ink's official street single "Lowkey Poppin" off his forthcoming debut album "Daydreamer".
“Lowkey Poppin” is a pulsating, anthemic, street driven record produced by the Grammy nominated production duo - The Runners. This record is already moving heavy in the clubs throughout Los Angeles as well as surrounding regional areas including Phoenix, AZ and Las Vegas, NV.
This video is directed by Alex Nazari and was shot in the desert of Lancaster, CA just outside of Los Angeles. The video features a variety of pyrotechnics and various props engulfed in flames as well as a cast of beautiful women alongside the dynamic performance delivered by Kid Ink. "We went really hard on this one for Kid Ink, its one of my favorite songs I've ever shot with any of the artists I've worked with thus far. I'm excited to hear what everyone thinks about the video." Directer Alex Nazari states.
Tha Alumni President DJ Ill Will adds "I have produced over 50+ music videos and this is my best work to date. We really dug deep creatively for this one, as well as financially. We took some serious risks as an independent label and went way over the initial budget we planned on using, but I am more than happy with the final product and what Alex Nazari and his team brought to life for us."
